- Favorite Poem Project Started by former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky, the Favorite Poem Project allows people to submit their favorite poems along with a personal story about why the poem means something to them. The site features a sampling of the poems, the poets, and stories from the people who have participated in the project.
- Notcoffeehouse Poetry and Performance Series Up-to-date schedule of open poetry readings at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Information on and poetry by recent and upcoming featured poets.

- KAFFA House Hosts The Poet's Den, a weekly poetry reading series in Washington, DC. This is a well-done site, but you must check the "Nightly Events" calendar to find out when the poetry events are happening.

- The Hannah Kahn Poetry Foundation The Foundation works to bring quality poetry readings and workshops to South Florida. HKPF also nurtures and recognizes poets through its Wild Horse Poetry Series, in which outstanding local poets get paid an honorarium. The Electric Chair also continues to showcase talented poets to an exclusive, invited audience where reader and listener interact in poetic dialogue.

- Diary of a Mad Poet Interesting outlet for amateur poets and writers, meant to be a source of encouragement. Poems are listed on a first-posted, first-listed basis, and there are a lot of repeat posts by poets, including the web site's founder.
- Poets & Writers - Out Loud This feature from Poets & Writers Magazine provides audio recordings of interviews with poets such as Billy Collins and Susan Wheeler.

- Kota Press A small press that offers a quarterly online poetry journal, and provides support to writers-particularly those who have used their writing as a way to process grief and finding healing.
- National Association for Poetry Therapy Members of this organization represent a wide range of expertise and training in both mental and physical health disciplines. Advocates use of poetry and other forms of literature to achieve therapeutic goals and personal goals.

- La Ca Music Publishers of the poetry/music group, POETRY BAND, which records the poetry of Wilson Sherman to a musical accompaniment.
- Taco Shop Poets Xicano poetry group from San Diego that sponsors readings, books, and CDs. Has taken over Taco Shops in major cities all over the United States, in order to bring poetry to people who might not be exposed to it.
