Routing
Routing Links
- Linux Router Project A networking centric mini-distribution of Linux. LRP is small enough to fit on a single 1.44MB floppy disk, and makes building and maintaining routers, terminal servers, and typically embedded networking systems next to trivial.
- CIPE An ongoing project to build encrypting IP routers. Software is already available for Linux and released under GPL.
- GNU Zebra Manages TCP/IP based routing protocols. It supports BGP4 (RFC1771), RIPv1, RIPv2 and OSPFv2. Zebra makes use of OS threads where available.
- Route Servers - The Next Generation
- NextHop Makers of GateD, routing software that runs on a PC
- HolonTech High performance server clustering systems, load balancing, internet server switches, fast network switches and routers.
