The Smoky Mountain Railroad (1926-1964) was actually the last in a series of three companies which offered passenger and freight service between Knoxville and Sevierville, Tennessee. Ol' Smoky's predecessor lines were the Knoxville, Sevierville, & Eastern (KS&E) Railway (1907-1921) and the Knoxville & Carolina (K&C) Railroad (1921-1926)
