- GEMS - Geological Mapping System A 25mb tarball of over 800 AML scripts. Mainly a graphical user interface that utilizes Arc/Info and customized commands for geological map production.
- WAGDA - Scripts and Extensions Contains some scripts for creating Arc/Info-readable .hdr and .bil filse from standard uncompressed DOQ/DOQQ file; singles and series. Washington State University, AMLs date ~1998.
- NARSC's AML Library An historical (last updated 05/13/99) but still pertinent collection of scripts hosted by the US Dep't of Interior, National Applied Resource Sciences Center.
- Visual Editor for AML A text editor designed for ARC/INFO AML files. [Win9x/NT]
- Map gallery Arcinfo Macro Launches a menu for user input, makes a screen capture of the existing Arcplot window, creates a GIF image and copies it to an existing web directory on your web server, then adds a link to an existing index file. - Recipes for Cooking with DEMs Scripts for creating and plotting shaded relief maps from digital elevation models, building optimal colour charts, and overlaying thematic data like geology. 1998.
- Ecosystem Modelling with GIS - US Bureau of Land Management - NSTC GIS modeling of the physical form and processes of ecosystem landscapes with AMLs. March 2001.
- RAPiD AML Application Development Environment An integrated development platform based on AML, bundling numerous ARC/INFO and UNIX tools together with an Application Architecture for an organized and flexible approach to building and managing applications. Sept 1998.
- Dalton GIS: ArcInfo AMLs A handful of small scripts for Arc and ArcEdit.
- metadata creation tool: fgdcmeta.aml by Illinois Clearinghouse An extremely simplified variant of DOCUMENT.AML. Conforms with the FGDC Content Standard. The output template is intended to be customized and used with other metadata tools (such as xtme, tkme and mp). Latest release: May 14, 1998.
- Hydrology AMLs for ArcInfo 7.0 Example scripts for creating watersheds, drainage path delineation, inland catchments, soils investigation, TINs based on irregular polygon boundaries, and watershed delineation. Site also has many good links to research papers/projects. Hosted by Center for Research in Water Resources, University of Texas, circa 1997.
- PNGIS AML script and Atools page A handful of useful scripts for batch processing multiple workspaces. Also "EasyEdit Lite", a Windows text editor designed for AMLs.
- Dave and Harvey's Slope Stability Package This tool collection calculates slope stability for a DEM.
- Imagemap Arcinfo Macro A still-in-development macro to produce standard WWW imagemaps (html script, gifs, map files and link pages) from any Arcinfo polygon coverage. Unix specific, may not be online much longer (all image links are already broken). USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, unknown date.
- Illinois State Museum's GIS Laboratory Includes scripts for creating VRML worlds, animations, and creating UMN Mapserver .map files (including cover to shape conversion). Content ranges from 1995 to 2000.
- AML Coding Standards for British Columbia Ministry of Environment, Lands, and Parks General guidelines for ARC/INFO AML coding at the agency.
- Rocky Mountain Mapping Center Software Library A variety pack including DEM and DOQ conversion, hillshades, mosaicking, clipping, plotting, scalebars, and UTM Zone determination. AML dates: 1990-1998. [NT, Unix]
