- Queen's University Belfast: School of Sociology and Social Policy A very active department with five research centres. The site is well maintained and very attractive. Hosts also the Irish Journal of Sociology.
- University of Ulster: School of Social and Community Sciences Not a very nice site. Information is poor and the design is crude. A lot of standard information is simply not there or impossible to find.
