- The Junior League of Pittsburgh Many women hesitate to volunteer because they dont know how to get involved or what type of organization is right for them. The Junior League offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to meet our members varied interests and schedules.

- Junior League of Norfolk JLNVB will donate $45,000 towards the creation of children's activities at the Haven Family Center. In September 1996, the Junior League dedicated the new education center at Virginia Zoological Park in Norfolk. Each spring, JLNVB offers community response grants totalling $5,000 to $10,000. The Career Clothes Closet provides interview clothing to women ending their reliance on government assistance.

- Junior League of Baltimore The Junior League of Baltimore, Inc. is a nonprofit, charitable organization for active women interested in hands-on volunteering, building friendships, networking and establishing ties with the community in Baltimore, Maryland.
- Junior League of Atlanta With over 5,000 members, one of the largest of the 295 Junior Leagues in the world, the Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. will provide over 100,000 volunteer hours and will give much needed financial assistance to dozens of community agencies and programs. JLA has a major inititive around prevention of teen pregnancy.

- Junior League of Charlotte In one year, JLC members gave over 86,000 hours of uncompensated service to community projects and other efforts aimed at improving the lives of children and families. In addition over $338,000 was raised from one-time and ongoing fund-raisers. The five-year mission addresses: adolescent issues with a focus on teenage pregnancy prevention; early childhood education with an emphasis on effective parenting skills for at-risk children; and family preservation with a concentration on self sufficiency. AJLI is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. - Junior League of Birmingham Over 2200 provisional, active and sustainer member women, working with a community focus belief that the proactive involvement in the health, education, and well-being of women and children strengthens the quality of family life.

- Junior League of Bakersfield Active JLB members volunteer their time and resources in support of various short-term charitable endeavors in Bakersfield. - Junior League of Detroit Currently in a partnership with the Cornerstone Schools Association, sponsoring a classroom of 23 kindergarten students. This sponsorship includes $2,000 toward the tuition of each child and a one-on-one partnership between each child and a Junior League volunteer. Additionally, the Junior League is providing $15,000 for extra-curricular activities.
